When using LionConnection, we keep track of user interaction with the site. This includes, but is not limited to:

•  amount of time spent on site

By tracking this information, it allows us to better understand our users and continually improve our site.

Disclosure of Information:

LionConnection does not sell information about its customers to others. However, certain business functions such as payment processing are handled by companies hired by LionConnection. In these cases, information is provided solely for the purpose of carrying out designated functions and is not authorized to be used in any other way.

Confidentiality and Security:

Credit card numbers are stored using industry-standard state of the art encryption technology. Number transmissions are protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. All information accessible through user login is password protected. LionConnection will only access your information when necessary.

LionConnection reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Users will be notified of changes through email.

Terms of Use

Welcome to the user agreement for LionConnection.com. Before using the site, we ask that you read and accept all of the terms and condition provided in both the User Agreement as well as the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify or amend this agreement at any time.

1. Membership

Our services are available only to individuals of 18 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 18, you can use this service with the permission/supervision of a parent or guardian. If you do not qualify, please do not use this site.

2. Fee Structure

LionConnection was created with the goal of making student life easier. As a result, all features on this site are free for students to use. Businesses or individuals looking to post entries in the Employment or Housing features will be charged a fee. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time. In the event that we introduce a new service/feature, the fees for that service are effective at the launch of the service/feature.

3. Role as Venue

We are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. LionConnection provides a front end service to students, providing a common place for advertising and sale. As a result, we are only responsible to the extent of the service we provide. We have no control over the quality, safety or legality of the items advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of sellers to sell items or the ability of buyers to pay for items. We do not ensure that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction.

4. Identity Verification

We do our absolute best to verify the complete accuracy of sellers/posters on LionConnection. However, we cannot guarantee any user’s identity. In the event that you have a legal dispute with another party while using our services, we are in no way connected with any such disputes.

5. Transaction Disclaimer

LionConnection is not responsible for any transactions between buyers and sellers that result from our services. Please be mindful of the following:

• Users are not guaranteed to successfully buy or sell an item
• Users are responsible for agreeing on a meeting time, meeting location, and payment plan. We advise users to meet in a public location.
• Users are responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise from transactions between them.
• LionConnection’s liability for any transaction is limited to the amount of the service fee for that transaction.

5.1 Payment Options

Buyers have the payment options of:

• paying in person via cash or check
• paying online via Paypal

Sellers have the option to receive payment:

• in the form of cash or check in person
• online via Paypal

6. Fraud

LionConnection reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that 1) has engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with this site 2) we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us 3) we believe that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our users, or LionConnection.

7. Your Information

We ask that all information that you provide is accurate, and truthful. Please do not use this site with malicious intentions. In order for us to provide free services, we must all work together.

8. Copyright

Under no circumstances should you copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or publicly display any content from the site without the prior expressed written permission of Lion Connection.

9. Privacy

Your information is one of our most important assets. We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent. Please review our Privacy Policy.

10. Football Ticket Exchange

LionConnection is not responsible for any interaction between users of our ticket exchange. Prices should not be mentioned, and tickets should not be sold for anything over Face Value.

11. Photos

We would like to thank those that participate in our weekend picture photo gallery. Please help us to keep this section clean and appropriate, or we will be forced to remove what could be an entertaining feature. We appreciate your contribution and cooperation. If for any reason you would like a picture removed from our gallery, please CONTACT US immediately and we will have it removed as soon as possible. LionConnection acts as a forum for students to reach other students. As a result, we are not responsible for any material posted by any individual, but will do our best to maintain a clean and orderly site. Please refrain from posting incriminating photos, or pictures of individuals whom you do not know. This is unacceptable. Thank you again for your cooperation.

Each of these policies may be changed from time to time and are effective immediately after we post the changes on the site.
